Phuc Thien Travel Service Trading Company Limited specialises in the scopes of sports
training and recreations: rescue swimming training; consulting, guiding and training of water
safety, rescue skills; provision of safe and rescue equipment for sale; provision of broadcast
supporting services and travels & tours, introduction of commercial promotion …
Being a network of water safety professionals, the company is committed to improving
coastal aquatic management and drowning prevention in Vietnam. We always develop our
sustainable partnership with the Surf Life Saving Vietnam (currently SLSV Consulting Ltd),
shared by a life saving development project based in Danang and our social enterprise.
So far, we have provided free water safety, first aid, CPR, rescue and safety training public
lifeguards, community groups charities and children’s water safety through our “Nippers’
Program. We fund this by providing cost effective training to the hotel and resort industry.
We also provide rescue and safety equipment for sale to the tourism industry. We work
alongside Resorts to support their CSR activities and assist government entities to provide
international standard beach management services that promote Vietnam as a safe
swimming destination.
We also develop partnerships between Vietnam and water safety groups in ASEAN and
Australia through the International Life Saving Society (ILS) and Surf Life Saving Australia
(SLSA).
Our Principal, David Field – as a trainier, an assessor and a facilitator from Surf Life Saving
Australia; as a trainer and an assessor from Royal Life Saving Australia, and as an
international lifeguard instructor AUS 18-009, was in 2019 presented with International
Lifesaving “Citation of Merit” for his 20-year involvement in lifesaving development in
ASEAN.
Besides, we regularly collect donated rescue equipment from Australian surf lifesaving clubs
and ships them to Vietnam for distribution.
Over the past years, we have trained hundred of staff from resorts throughout Vietnam in
aquatic management, emergency response, CPR and Emergency Care.
Our Surf Life Saving Vietnam training is designed to cater for a range of swimming and
physical abilities. Our SLSV courses include introduction to Lifeguarding; Basic Lifeguard
Pool and Ocean; Emergency First Responder – Aquatic Rescue and First Aid. The training is
supported by our bilingual training manual and videos developed to show local Vietnamese
conditions.
All staff members, regardless of swimming ability, receive thorough training in CPR.
Emergency care and working as part of a rescue team. Our training is delivered in English
and Vietnamese and supported by the bi-lingual SLSV training manual.
After the training, we provide Surf Life Saving Vietnam certification although International
certification can be requested.

Our SLSV training is to Australian and International standards and recognized in the resort
industry. The SLSV syllabus has been adopted nationally in Thailand by Thai Life Saving
Society.
Our company, would like to be part of your next safety training. We believe all staff trained in
Rescue and CPR become resources for the Vietnamese community.
All profits are returned to supporting water safety in Vietnam.
