This weekend the Nha Trang nippers were re-launched. Leaders from other nippers groups in Vietnam spoke at the information evening held at the Sheraton. Thin Vu and MaxLambert from Danang and Hoi An nippers spoke. Ruurd van Putten spoke enthusiastically about re-starting the Nha Trang group. Sheraton GM Catherine Racsko opened the meeting and paid tribute to the late Duncan McLean and his pioneering work in surf life saving in Vietnam. Parents from Sheraton and Nha Trang Bay management attended and a good number of nipper parents from Nha Trang nippers were there and happy to see the group reform.On Saturday afternoon twilight nippers was held and over 50 nippers attended. Children’s water safety in Khanh Hoa province took a big step this weekend. Well done to all involved.
